Stonecutter

Stone is one of the most widely used materials for creating building facades and interior house design. The stones must first be cut before using them in the facade and building interior design. There are numerous tools to cut stones. Most of these tools require high energy and experience for an ideal cut. However, thanks to the advancement of technology, stonecutting machines are able to provide you with the best cuts with minimal energy and work experience.

Cutting stone and ceramic for different parts of the building, including the facade, is one of the most expensive and most difficult parts of the construction. The first stonecutting machine in Iran was manufactured in 1929 in the Nazi Abad Region in Tehran, contemporaneous with the construction of the Marble Palace with iron blades, which operated with powder and silica and was known as “Sawdust.” Fifty percent of the country’s ornamental stones are produced in Isfahan. Ten percent of the stones extracted from mines are quality stones directly exported.

Traditional and modern stonecutter

Given that the traditional stonecutters, compared with the modern, usually result in moderately lower quality stone, these stonecutting methods are not considered the highest quality methods. Moreover, these stonecutting methods cause less added value for each square meter of granite that they produce. However, one of the advantages of these stonecutters is that they can be established with much less investment, compared with the modern stonecutters.

Waterjet cutting services

“Waterjet cutting” is considered one of the high-quality cutting methods. Given that this method does not produce heat and operates with cold cutting, it does not leave a stone trace. The main advantage of waterjet cutting is that they cut without changing the nature of the materials; the main reason for which is its cold nature. In fact, the cutting process takes place without any thermal stress on the metal, and unlike the warm cutting method, no structural changes occur in the metal and other materials. Moreover, no stress is induced onthe material.

Tehran’s stonecutters

More than 80 percent of Tehran’s stonecutting units have transported out of the city during 1989- 2006. Some of them have changed their use, and the remaining ten percent have moved out of the city in the next years. The stone manufacturing factories operating in Tehran have been identified as polluters of the environment by the Iranian Department of Environment, and therefore, moved out of the city.

Isfahan’s stonecutters

Given Isfahan’s geographical location at the center of Iran and access to all stone mines, this city is considered the main stone manufacturing pole. Isfahan’s stonecutting factory is developing at considerable speed. Isfahan stone cutters are located in Rezvanshahr, Mahmoudabad, Dolatabad, and Najafabad industrial towns.

Marble stone

The marble stone is one of the most beautiful stones that has attracted much attention. This stone belongs to the metamorphic limestone group, and due to its less porosity than travertine stones, it has higher relative strength and weight. Moreover, it has less resistance and weight compared with other granite stones. This stone’s beauty is considered of its main features, and you can have this stone in different colors and patterns.

The black color in the granite stone is due to biotite and hornblende minerals. The more is the amount of these minerals, the darker the stone is. Black granite stone has a more homogeneous color compared with other black building stones. Not to mention that the amount and type of minerals in ineffective on the stone resistance.

White marble

White marble stones are very popular in the market due to their pure white color, smooth and homogeneous texture, and desirable color. White marble stones are produced in different qualities. The quality of the stone is directly associated with its whiteness. It means the more whitethe stone is, the higher its quality is, and of course, its price. Moreover, its transparent background is one of the factors determining its quality.

Black marble stone

All marble stones result from the recrystallization of calcium carbonate and other minerals such as clay and mica. These materials are transformed under high temperature and pressure and ultimately result in continuous crystals of calcite. Black marble stone is crystallized under similar conditions, and a stone with a black background and light streaks is formed.

Dark grey marble

Dark grey marble is one of the most luxurious building stones and one of the best and most colorful building marble stones, and its beautiful color and waves mesmerize eyes. The stone mine is located between Abadeh and Semirom in the Khosrow Shirin Region. This marble stone is appropriate for a variety of buildings, stairways, and decors. Smoked marble and dark grey marble are some of the trendy colors for Iranian marbles among European customers. In contrast to the reception met to this color by the foreign customers, it is not well respected in domestic markets, and therefore, whenever talked of, it is subconsciously about its exporting aspect.

Stone slab

Slab stone is a large cut of solabest stone with larger thickness and size than stones common in facade, wall, floor, and stairs. This type of cut has different types and models and appears beautiful with its beautiful natural streaks in large and monolith size. This large monolith stone has a relatively complex process due to its large size. Furthermore, it requires particular cutting devices, thus making its price high and its beauty duplicated due to its integrity.

Chinese stone

Using Chinese stone for exterior facade and space is entirely technical and wise. The stone is somehow between granite and travertine in terms of water absorption and slurry adhesion, which means that it is not as absorptive as travertine, but not as non-absorptive as granite. Chinese stone is highly resistant against deep and superficial weathering; therefore, it could be used in building exterior facade with assurance. This stone absorbs minimal heat due to its light color; therefore, it is considered a cool stone.

Lashtar stone

Lashtar stone has black, dark gray, black-gray, and gray backgrounds. In terms of appearance, there are irregular white lines on its surface, which has made it appealing and unique. Lashtar black marble, with its black-gray background color, is used for decorating particular parts inside buildings and WCs. Lashtar black marble has deficient water absorption and high resistance. Lashtar black marble is suitable for outdoor flooring in the form of tumble or sandblasts or 3 cm thick chips. Lashtar marble mine is located in the south of Isfahan, 30 km away from the Negin Sang-e Kavir factory.

Lashtar dark-gray stone

Stone industry

In our country, Iran, different industries are operating: Sun Stone Industries, aimed at manufacturing and cutting quality stones and capable of competing with European countries, was established in 2011. Vazin Stone Industry is a manufacturer of different building stones such as travertine, marble, granite, slab, and all stone synthetics. By applying the most novel and advanced European machine technologies, Uranus Stone Industry is capable of providing stone products such as slab, tiles, and stairs. AdibVala Stone Industry is established in 2004 aimed at manufacturing and providing building stones using Italian novel equipment and utmost quality cutting methods. Using committed and experienced experts and using the most advanced stone technologies in tile and slab lines, EttefaqBarta Stone Industry is the manufacturer of the highest-quality building stones with exporting qualities.
